From GMA NEWS TV (Updated Sept 14 8:13 p.m.) Some local governments on Sunday
announced that classes will be suspended on Monday because of the threat
posed by Typhoon Luis (Kalmaegi).
Classes in the following areas have been declared suspended:
Metro Manila
Caloocan City (all levels)
Malabon (all levels)
Manila (preschool to high school)
Marikina (all levels)
Navotas (all levels)
Pateros (all levels)
Quezon City (all levels)
Valenzuela City (preschool to high school)
Regions
Abra (all levels)
Bataan (all levels)
Hagonoy, Bulacan (elementary)
Malolos City, Bulacan (preschool and elementary)
Cavite (all levels)
Ilocos Norte (primary and secondary)
Nueva Ecija (all levels)
Laguna (preschool to high school)
San Fernando and Angeles City, Pampanga (preschool to high school)
Rizal (preschool to high school, public and private)
Under Department of Education rules, the decision to suspend classes is up to the local government units.
